As the fourth largest retailer in the U.S., Home Depot needed a new mobile strategy that would reflect their leadership and engage their massive customer base. So they turned to us for help.
Maximizing the mobile experience.
In 2010, we led the design of Home Depot’s 2.0 iPhone release. Instead of just improving on what they had, we developed a completely new strategy that would empower Home Depot to leverage mobile like never before. It included how-to videos, product demos, handy tools and calculators, store maps, gift cards, and a retail system to let customers browse and purchase products from their mobile phones.
Cutting time to market with our scalable design approach.
We didn’t stop there. We conducted in-depth usability testing and analysis to inform future releases. Then, we leveraged our proven design scalability process to scale the design to other leading mobile platforms – dramatically cutting time to market for the new release.
